| Treating Kaposi Sarcoma Feb 18, 2008 Is it worth taking the risk of changing medications to get rid of the KS? It's been progressing to the point I've had to start specific chemiotherapy (will be testing it for the next 6 weeks); 4.Could you recommend anyone or a website through whom / which I could improve my research / quest? Thanks a lot for your attention. Joseph L |

Response from Dr. Holodniy
It's probably not worth changing your HIV regimen. More impact on KS is seen going from no HIV meds to being on HIV meds. There are many websites out there. Not exactly sure what you are looking for. You might start with this one from the National Cancer Institute: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/pdq/treatment/kaposis/HealthProfessional/page1. | |||||||||
