Prevention & Cure for Hep C Oct 14, 2007 Sir I already ask u a question i have postive hep c with following answer given by u what precatuion & cure is given to me as adviced by my doctor that treatment is very costly that i can not afford. Kindly give answer as early as possible. It means the HCV viral load test is positive with a result of 217,000 international units per milliliter of blood. This indicates chronic infection with hepatitis c virus. |

 Yes, treatment is expensive, and can have significant side effects, but treatment usually lasts around one year. Many people have a good response to this treatment which consists of taking a shot once a week and some antiviral pills twice a day. | ||||||||
