|avoiding the question?

Wow do you like to avoid this question! Do YOU believe that saliva(without blood mixed in) is an infectious body fluid? YES or NO. If so why hasnt there been cases of people being infected by kissing.

I am not answering questions regarding my beliefs. We are sticking to data that is published or that I am aware of. Although there are several publications that have found HIV virus in saliva, or from infected cells in saliva, I am not aware of culture data correlating the infectivity of the virus that was found. Part of this lack of infectivity data relates to technical issues of culture in saliva. Just because it hasn't been reported, does not mean it hasn't happened.
