cd4 count Jun 16, 2007 Hi My CD4 counts have been gradually rising with the last two being close to 500 and % around 17.5. Today my CD4 count was 250 and % 24. Should I be concerned? I'm surprised at the CD4 drop but also at the 7% rise in percentage. I've also just started taking Roaccutane for acne and was wondering if that might be the cause. My cholesterol level has also jumped up. It was stable at 4.5 but has jumped to 5.4. My diet and excercise have stayed the same. thanks |

 Hard to make sense of that change. Although accutane can affect the function of some immune system cells, it would be unlikely to decrease the absoute number and increase the percent. I suspect when you get tested again things will be back to baseline. | |||||||||
