| An AIDS treatment? Sep 3, 2006 Dear Dr. Holodniy, Last year Sep. a patient of Dr. Ozel in Turkey was diagnosed as AIDS after having his viral load measured as 4,600,000. At the time CD4:11% 254 /mm3; CD8:%76 1824/ mm3. His diagnosis was from a leading University in the country. He began the treatment. In November his viral load was down to 13400 In May 2006 his viralload was down to 267. In June 2006 CD4: 481 /mm3; CD8: 928. Perhaps. I would have to see and understand what the proported in vitro mechanism of action is and that more than one anecdotal patient had the same response. | |||||||||
