HIV/AIDS-No big deal?
Aug 27, 2006
Am I crazy or have alot of people gotten the idea that because of the effective treatments we have for alot of HIV/AIDS patients that it is no big deal anymore? I have heard this time and time again from friends and others. If this is the case, then I disagree wholeheartedly. Not only is there still alot of stigma, cost, and unpleasant side affects which so many of us suffer from (insomnia, depression etc)but it can still kill you. I have a friend who says its no big deal-just pop a couple of pills each and every day. Whats your thoughts? Thank you

I think it's a big deal.
