Why the declining CD4 with undetectible VL?
| Response from Dr. Holodniy
Your CD4 percent is remarkably stable, fluctuating within a few percentage points. Your absolute CD4 count has declined because the WBC and lymphocyte counts have dropped on each successive measurement. Given the undetectable viral load and stable CD4 percent, it is unlikely that the CD4 absolute count decline is clinically significant.
