SALIVA GLANDS ENLARGE May 28, 2006 I've been positive for amost 4 years this sept.I was dianosge having AIDS when i found out. I noticed that my sublingual saliva glands are most of the time enlarge what could that mean and what can i do about it. P.S. my last count was (9 cd4) and (Vl 71,000) oral thrush PCP |

 The question is whether this is really salivary gland enlargement, lymph nodes or something else. Given your very low CD4 count many things could be causing this swelling, including HIV. You don't indicate whether you are on HIV treatment, and with those numbers you should be. A good exam by your doctor will help determine what the next step should be. | ||||||||
