I've been positive for a little over 2 years and I still don't know what it means when the nurse says that my cd-4 percentage went up. Can you explain what exactly this percentage means and what it is based on? Thank you, B.

You really need to go and get all your numbers. You should have this information on hand, not only for yourself, but if you need to see other doctors. The CD4 count is usually expressed as an absolute number and a percentage of total t lymphocytes.
