Hepatitis C Diagnosis

gross examination- specimen consists of two cores of light brown soft tissue, measuring 0.2 and 1.4 Liver biopsy: chronic haptitis C, with moderate inflammatory activity (grade 3) abd periportal fibrosis (stage 2) Patchy mild far metamorphosis Patchy mild stainable iron identified -

My question is ... what does this mean and what are the chances of being healed with treatment? Am I a canditate for help? Please help me!

Response from Dr. Holodniy

The biopsy results mean there is moderate damage to the liver by HCV infection. HCV treatment would be indicated provided there are no other active medical issues and all screening tests are negative.
