Stable for over 5 years, but drop
Jul 24, 2005

I was confirmed hiv+ in 2003. I may have contacted virus from 5-13 years ago. My cd-4 has stayed 1030 to 1040 for last 18 months. My VL has been last than 400 for the entire period w/o Meds. My T-cell recently droped to 940. Should i be concerned and what could have caused the drop in 6 months?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

I would NOT be concerned. You are in excellent shape and any such change is probably just noise in the assay. I suspect your CD4 percent has not changed over time. ANnther good number to keep track of.
