i fractured my shoulder mar 11. i am hiv+ over 20 years. a week later, my c-reactive protein was 9.4. does this mean i am at a very high risk to have a heart attack soon? if so, what can i do to lessen the risk? many thanks Mark

Why was this test ordered in the first place? I cannot interpret this test in the face of an acute fracture. It can be elevated in multiple clinical situtations, all meaning different things.
