Jan 17, 2005

I just recently found out i am hiv pos .. my t cell count is 1100 and my viral load test was 7000.. my doctor claims this is a new infection ... i have been taking vitamin c for a few years every day i wanted to know.. if i should continue to take vitamin c and if it would help any?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

No reason not to continue the vitamin C, unless you are taking megadoses (> 1 gram/day), in which case you should probably lower the dose.
