15+ years HIV+
Jul 25, 2004

I don't really have a question, but I did want to share the good news I got at the doctor's today. My CD4 count was 550 (22%)and my VL <50.

I have been HIV+ since at least March 1989, and I've been on Combivir and Viracept since 2000. This is the highest CD4 count I've had since 2000. My doctor is thrilled.

The doctor describes my virus as "wimpy". I'm very fortunate to be a "nonprogressor" and am doing all I can to stay that way.

Response from Dr. Holodniy

Congratulations! Love to hear this kind of news!
