lab test May 1, 2004 Dear Doctor can you pls. help me a little _ 20+ yrs poz _ i am not feeling well and beeing in India - had some preliminary tests taken - how serious is it when 'platelet count' is .7 and pvc/haematocrit 38% and mch is 33.3% - no energy and very strong diarreah and eosinophil 8% Have to wait 4 weeks for my return flight. I hope to hear from you. Thank You! |

 I am not sure what that platelet count means. The other values are OK. Given the eosinophil count and diarrhea, it sounds like there may be a parasite infection going on. | ||||||||
