| long term nonprogressors who feel really ill Apr 5, 2004 why do some nonprogressors with undetectable vl's and normal t cell numbers feel very ill, yet others with high vl's and single or double digit cd4's say they feel healthy and well? i'm a long term nonprogressor (undetectable vl for years), but amazingly ill all the time for years...surely amount of vl should be proportionate to intensity of symptoms? Thank you. Thanks. |

Response from Dr. Holodniy
I have no explanation. It may have something to do with a person's underlying genetic makeup, and possibly other ongoing illnesses, whether they are psychiatric or physical in nature. | |||||||||
