re IMMUNE SYTEM RECOVERY Nov 9, 2003 Not really a question except my wife was in a similar situation to you nearly three years ago. Cd4 8, VL 180,000, TB and PCP and weight down to 28Kg. Now VL undetectable, CD4 over 300, off TB meds for 12 months now, no PCP and weight 45Kg. Stick with the meds, complete the course of TB meds (very important)eat as well as you can and enjoy the good days, accept the bad days. With time the number of bad days will decrease and the number of good days will increase. |
