please help im in a smal twn w/a country dr

ijust tested + after exposure 7 months ago i was wondering why the only blood work my dr ordered was a cbc all was normal except my hct was high @ 54 (im ot converned about that) my wbc was slightly high but my lyphocytes were low @ 16 should i be converned about that?? im very confused and can only go on what my dr says i do not understand any of this please please help ty

You need to have your doctor order a CD4 count and HIV viral load test, at a minimum. The results from these tests will help determine where you are on the spectrum of HIV infection, and whether HIV treatment and/or additional antibiotics to protect against various infections is warranted now or later.
