Cd4 vs. T cell

Is the t cell count and the cd4 count one and the same? I am very confused when trying to do research. Thank you!

T lymphocytes (CD3+) are divided into two major groups, t helper cells (CD4) and t suppressor/cytotoxic (CD8) cells.
