Low cd4, good cd4 count and undetectablect high3
Apr 13, 2003

I have been on meds for 3 years now, initaly my cd4 was 276 and viral load 27,000. The cd4 was 18. I rapidly became undetectable and have remained that way, and my cd4 got up to 700. I now bounce around in the 600s, but my cd4 remains at 18. I have never been sick and am now on Sustiva, epivir and abavacir. Changed meds only because of side effects. I work out with weights regularly and am now almost 71 years old. I have had 3 doctors, changed only because of moving, and they all say I am doing fine. The worries me however. What do you think?

Response from Dr. Holodniy

I agree with all your doctors. Sounds like you are doing marvelous!
