Manual method of detecting viral load and cd4 count
Sep 8, 2002

Hi,

Please I need help! What does a cd4 count of 420cells mean using the manual method to detect cd4 count and also a viral load of 3.29 log RNA copies/ml mean in the < 2000 range.

Cheers,

Response from Dr. Holodniy

I am not sure what the manual method is. But given those numbers, you are in immunologically good shape, and if you are not on treatment, you don't need treatment at this point.
