| Which One and When? Mar 1, 2001 Hello Dr. I'll make it quick. I'm approaching my six month mark after a potential exposure. My questions are, would it be more practical to take an Elisa or to take a Pcr at six months? Also, either way, should I test at twenty four or twenty six weeks or it doesn't make a difference? Thanks for the great site. |

Response from Dr. Holodniy
ELISA antibody testing is sufficient after 6 months and the exact time does not matter. | |||
