 ARS is the acute retroviral syndrome. A group of symptoms that people have when the experience acute HIV infection. There is a spectrum from no symptoms to people being very sick. Most people who have AIDS die of infections like pneumonia. Cancers like lymphoma are also a cause of death when someone has AIDS. MH | ||
