high free T4 index Feb 7, 2001 Hi Doctor, My son had a blood test to check his thyroid and they found a Free T4 index of 51.0 and T4 total of 10.2 and T update of .2. they were concerned his TSH was 3.3 can you tell me what this means and is there a need for treatment. Thank you. Steve |
