hi doc why can,t you take hiv change the way it works to fight it self? what i am saying the new hiv that we change put it back in the body to fight off the old hiv this way it control itself and people whould not need drugs or mabay very little we can change are cells even to the point of choosing the sex of a baby so why can,t we change the way hiv works to fight it self thank you

Interesting thought. What you describe is really the basis of vaccine work. Make an HIV virus that won't infect and kill T cells, but cause an immune reaction, so the body creates a better immune response against the virus. They are working on it. MH
