Starting Treatment

I am 29, been positibe for 8 years, my cd4 is 8% and my VL is 500,00.
I am unable to take Atripla as i am resistant to something in it, sorry i cant remember.
So i am going to start with Truvada, Ritonavir and Darunavir.
Is this a good combination in your opinion? and what side effects might i expect to have?

Yes, that is a very good combination and you should have a great response in terms of reducing viral load and increasing your CD4 count. Side effects could include gastrointestinal side effects initially and the possibility of increased lipids (increased cholesterol and triglycerides) and a decrease in kidney function. These effects do not occur in everybody and your doctor will be monitoring for these.
