stomach and side discomfort
Dec 22, 2001

I have had recurring stomach problems along with discomfort and tightness in my lower back left(kidney?). Stool cultures did not detect anything.

I am not on meds my numbers were Vl 33,000; Tc 270 in Sept and Vl 22,700; Tc 250 in Dec. I have been fight my stomach problem during both test.

What can done about recurring stomach infections? My Dr. has offered no recommendations or speculations yet.

Response from Dr. Feinberg

You need a more thorough evaluation for the cause of your stomach problems. You weren't very specific about what kind of stomach problems you are having, but your T cells are just a bit too hogh to assume that the problems are due to your HIV. Ask your doctor to look into your problems more thoroughly. Good luck!
