HIV + WITH UNDER-ACTIVE THYROID & HYPOGLYCEMIA
Aug 16, 2000

I HAVE SEARCHED TO FIND WAYS TO BOOST MY ENERGY LEVEL DEALING WITH ALL 3 OF THESE ISSUES COULD U HELP ME PLEASE & THANKS

Response from Dr. Feinberg

You haven't given me very much information to go on, but the places to start are with thyroid hormone replacement and combination medications for HIV. Because the word got cut off, I don't know what kind of "hypo" you're referring to. I hope you are getting HIV-specific care -- low energy levels can be caused by many things, including hypothyroidism, uncontrolled HIv, anemia and depression, to name just a few.
