open oozing sores Sep 5, 2001 Dear Doctor, My viral load is up (75,000) and i have open sores on legs arms neck and face. I have for 2 months now. They begin as whiteheads, burst , than grow to 1/2" in diamater. Any suggestions for pain and healing??Not responding to any meds. |

 Without being able to see these sores, it's hard to guess, but the possibilities include folliculitis, psoriasis and herpes (less likely). Have you seen a skin specialist? You may need a skin biopsy for an accurate diagnosis and the correect treatment. |
