Does this apply to all?
Aug 9, 2001

Will the window period depend on the amount of virus exposed to, say if one were to be exposed to only a minute amount of hiv, would he take longer than another who was exposed to a larger amount to seroconvert? Or is it safe to say that the 6 month window period applies to all circumstances and one should not worry beyond the six month mark if negative?

Response from Dr. Feinberg

It applies to all situations.
