I hope you can give me an idea what it might be Mar 5, 2000 I have a fairly active, but monogamous sex life. Recently I have found a sore on my vaginal area and my clitoris has a spot that is sore. I try and keep the area very clean and put antibiotic cream on the sore which is on the outer area. I am trying to get in to see a doctor, but I was wondering what could possibly cause this. I have had a urinary tract infection, but that is the only problems I have had since losing my virginity. I was wondering if you could give me a hint to what could be wrong so I do not drive myself mad with worry. The sore looks a lot like a bug bite and it itches sometimes. Thanks |

 It sounds like it might be herpes, or these spots may just be abrasions (skin that gets sore from being rubbed hard) from vigorous sex. You'll need to see your own doctor to find out for sure. |
