In re PML: Peptide T rather than T20
Mar 23, 2000

Thank you for your earlier response about treatments for PML. I wasn't, however asking about T20, but Peptide T-- the chain of amino acids that is inhaled--in combination with vistide and a strenuous cocktail treatment. Would you be kind enought to consider Peptide T as a treatment?

Response from Dr. Feinberg

In prior tests, Peptide T showed no ability to improve brain function in patients with dementia. I doubt it would be useful in PML, although I know of no specific data in this regard.

update on case
no dx even after biopsy
