| Combivir and Nerve Problems Jan 17, 2000 Any info on Combivir and/or Hiv itself relating to nerve problems? i.e.neuropathy, conductive hearing loss, orbital nerve damage, etc. |

Response from Dr. Feinberg
HIV itself is associated with peripheral neuropathy. Other nucleoside analogues, like ddI, d4T and ddC can also cause this. I know of no connection between Combivir (AZT +3TC)and this problem. |
