		Combivir and Nerve Problems Jan 17, 2000 Any info on Combivir and/or Hiv itself relating to nerve problems? i.e.neuropathy, conductive hearing loss, orbital nerve damage, etc.


		Response from Dr. Feinberg HIV itself is associated with peripheral neuropathy. Other nucleoside analogues, like ddI, d4T and ddC can also cause this. I know of no connection between Combivir (AZT +3TC)and this problem.
