question about hcv,can it cause candida? Feb 8, 2000 can u have candida if ur hcv too?because i have had a bladder and kidney infection for about 5 to 6 mo. should i be worried? is the hcv causing this? i cant afford treatment so i have a week immune system which means i stay sick a lot. signed, very curious |

 HCV is a shorthand way of saying Hepatitis C Virus. I don't know if you meant "HIV" instead of "HCV". HCV isn't related to Candida-- they are different kinds of germs, but people with HIV can get Candida pretty easily. Usually they get it in the mouth, of if they're female, in the vagina. Try to find a free clinic where you are or some way to get care. |
