how many hours did symptoms turn out ?
Jan 25, 2000

Dr.Feinberg,

Could HIV symptoms be turn out after 40 hours? Viral transmitted by blood.symptoms include:fever, fatigue, night sweat, tooth LGS,dry mouth, dry lips.

Could you tell me how many hours last if infected by HIV as soon as possible in the world the fastest symptoms turn out.

Thank you very much!

Waiting for your response,thanks again.

Response from Dr. Feinberg

I don't know what the absolute minimum time is before symptoms begin, but 40 hours seems like an awfully short time. Remember, many illnesses-- especially viral infections-- have the same symptoms as newly-transmitted HIV. If you're worried that you have been infected with HIV, then seek medical care and testing right away.
