 The normal range for liver enzyme tests varies from lab to lab so there is no one single answer to the question of what level is abnormal, but generally, normal enzyme levels are less than 35-45 or so. The issue is finding out what is causing the enzyme abnormality. The specific cause is what drives the choice of a specific "remedial action". |
