seroconversion symptoms
Apr 13, 2001

dear doctor, briefly, what are typical seroconversion symptoms? or does seroconversion pass on unnoticed? thanks.

Response from Dr. Feinberg

Typical seroconversion symptoms include fever, sore throat, swollen lymph glands, fatigue, aches and rash-- much the way someone with infectious mononucleosis would appear. However, there are a host of other symtpoms and conditions that have been documented during seroconversion, some of which are rare, so it isn't plausible to give you an exhaustive list.
