late symptoms of PCP? Mar 13, 2001 Dear doc what are the late symptoms of PCP?? Coz on our place theres no tools in determining the CD4 counts on our blood except x-ray... so I must depend on the symptoms as to when to take vaccine or medicine. Hope to hear from you soonest. |

 There is no simple answer to your question-- generally, the later in their course that patients are identified with PCP, the more severe it tends to be, with high fever, weight loss, nonproductive cough and malaise. If you think you may have PCP, please contact your doctor ASAP for an appropriate evaluation. Good luck! |
