Head nodes
Feb 26, 2001

Hi dr , is it possible that swallon nodes in the back of the head can be a sign. I am boocked into test tommorrow! I have had a faint headache for 12 days after a sore throat and swallon neck gland. Could it just be stress from thinking to much about this. My neck is rather sore as well!

Please help

S.

Response from Dr. Feinberg

Swollen nodes on the back of the head /neck can be associated with HIV but are most commonly due to a minor problem in the scalp. However, the only way to know for sure is to get tested.
