		Are HIV antibodies affected by alcohol? Mar 9, 2002 My question is: Does alcohol kill or get rid of antibodies for hiv in the bloodsteam?


		Response from Dr. Feinberg Alcohol (and other substances that are abused) do not affect the reliability of the HIV test.
