TB question

Dear Doctor, Can TB be transmited by kissing and does TB have an acute phase. Thanks

TB is transmitted by contact close enough to be exposed to droplets full of TB germs when someone with Tb coughs-- I think this clearly includes kissing. TB causes illness that I guess could be characterized as an "acute phase" although this is not how one usually refers to TB.
