Jan 16, 2001
The skin on the outside of my nose is very oily yet dry. When water touches the area the skin turn very white and mushee. And when it dry's it starts to come off. How can I stop this from happeing because it is deforming my nose. Thank you,

It sounds like you may have seborrheic dermatitis. This responds very quickly to prescription-strength topical steroid ointments. See your doctor for a definitive diagnosis (I can't really 'look' at things over the Internet) and a prescription.
