Decreasing RAtio....Please comment Jan 29, 2002 Dear Doctor, I am over testing now. Its been 6 months. Like a fool i went ahead and did a cd4/cd8 test (third time)and this ratio has been decreasing. there has always been a mild increase in cd8 whereas a decrease in cd4. in the last three months my ratio has gone from 1.6-1.3. i have read that stress can do this but also hiv does this....Please comment |

 You did a dumb thing in trying to find an answer with the wrong test. Just forget about it. Amillion things can cause slight changes in the CD4/CD8 ratio. You are torturing yourself for no good reason. |
