		quick question Jan 19, 2002 Does swolen lymphnodes happen when you have HIV or full blown AIDS??? Is is possible to have them after 5 months of exposer or does it come when you have been infected for sometime?? Ive heard different things, please answer...thank you


		Response from Dr. Feinberg Lymph nodes swell and shrink throughout the course of HIV disease, so the presence of swollen nodes can not be used as a way to measure new versus long-standing HIv infection.
