Im positiveperson who infected me still negative
Jan 15, 2002

I had only one partner so Im sure of the source of my infection. However that person has tested negative at 3 and 6 months. She was treated for gonnorea 6 months ago but got negative Hiv antibody results in two tests after. I tested pos for gonnorea and was treated. This person is 106 lbs and Im wondering if she has tested negative due to a weak immune system. I on the other hand went through ARS at 6 weeks and it was very bad Thank you so much for your time and compassion

Response from Dr. Feinberg

You cannot get HIV from someone who doesn't have it. Something about this story isn't accurate. If your partner was your only contact, then she must be positive, just like you.
