Is PML Disease a common complication with AIDS?
And...is there any therapy for this...or is it a death sentence...or is it because the patient will die anyway will the Doctors not do anything about the PML and let it run its' course?

Response from Dr. Feinberg

PML is not the most common OI in AIDS patients, but it is one of the few for which there is no established treatment. It has responded in many cases to the immune improvement that occurs with combination HIV treatment. There is an experimental treatment for PML called cidofovir, which is approved for treating CMV.
