what are the symptoms for late stage of aids. If someone is in late stage what is the treatment and how long would they have to live?

The symptoms that can occur with advanced HIV disease are varied and too numerous to list all of them here. Prominent symptoms can include weight loss, fatigue, fever, night sweats and decreased memory. Other symptoms will depend on which of the AIDS-associated illnesses a person may have developed. Even if combination antiretroviral treatment is begun in advanced disease, people can have a sustained response to therapy, with significant increases in their CD4 cells and few, if any, AIDS-related problems. Survival time is still not known because these medicines are relatively new, but it is hoped that people will be able to live for many years.
