Sep 6, 2000
I had routine Check up, I found myself to be HIV positive but I have never had sex with anybody and also I have not used drugs in my life, what could be the possible cause of me being positive? After this incident I don't find the purpose of living as just after my completion of studies and I am looking forward for a bright future and a happy married life. Now I am Doomed, I feel like dying, I cannot disclose this to my parents also as they have high hopes in me. Please help me.

I would not consider you doomed. In fact you may not even have HIV. If you indeed have no risks you may have had a false positive test. I would recommend a PCR test to confirm whether the virus is indeed there or not. Don't despair! DTD
