|Fatty Liver High Triglycerides- WORRY???
Aug 20, 2001
HI! I just was told I have a fatty liver & high triglycerides. All other tests came back normal. Even my hepatitis screening. I am still worried- every SEARCH engine I type in fatty liver high triglycerides shows HIV & Hepatitis. Please ease my worries, or justify them. Thanks!

While it is true that fatty liver can be caused by HIV which can cause high triglycerides, the most common cause is just obesity and/or diabetes. The best treatment is simply a low fat diet, low sugar and low alcohol diet and exercise. So all of you with fatty livers out there, diet and exercise! DTD
