Fatty Liver High Triglycerides- WORRY??? Aug 20, 2001 HI! I just was told I have a fatty liver & high triglycerides. All other tests came back normal. Even my hepatitis screening. I am still worried- every SEARCH engine I type in fatty liver high triglycerides shows HIV & Hepatitis. Please ease my worries, or justify them. Thanks! |

 While it is true that fatty liver can be caused by HIV which can cause high triglycerides, the most common cause is just obesity and/or diabetes. The best treatment is simply a low fat diet, low sugar and low alcohol diet and exercise. So all of you with fatty livers out there, diet and exercise! DTD | ||||||||
